Admission Requirements

  • A recognized Bachelor’s degree or equivalent;
  • Full-time work experience of at least three years for holders of a bachelor's degree, or at least two years for holders of master's and/or doctoral degree(s);
  • A recognized degree from a university of which the medium of the instruction was English OR satisfactory GRK /GMAT/ EA/ GRE/ TOEFL/ IELTS
  • a. Meeting GRK minimum scores of the year (requirements vary each year), or
  • b. GMAT: ≥ 580; GMAT focus≥ 545; Test Result within 5 years, or
  • c. Meeting EA minimum requirement of the year (requirements vary each year) , or
  • d. GRE: Verbal≥150, Quantitive≥150, Total equivalent to GMAT≥580; Test result within 5 years, or
  • e. Minimum TOEFL 550 (Paper-based) / 80 (Internet-based) [The HKU code number for TOEFL is 9671], or
  • f. IELTS (Academic Training) minimum overall band of 6 with no subtest lower than 5.5.

* Applicants with more than seven years of work experience may be exempt from the aforementioned requirement if they achieve a satisfactory score on the IMBA English Admission Test.
